Dr.Purnendu Paul is a dedicated and experienced surgeon specializing in General Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, and Laser Proctology. With over 13 years in the medical field, he is known for his commitment to clinical excellence, minimally invasive techniques, and compassionate patient care.
Dr. Paul earned his MBBS from Burdwan Medical College and Hospital (2007–2013), followed by an MS in General Surgery from Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital (2015–2018). His academic excellence and passion for surgery led him to pursue advanced training in laparoscopic hernia surgery at Apollo Chennai and laser proctology in Kolkata.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Paul has completed a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) under AMASI and is certified in advanced laparoscopic and laser procedures. His surgical interests include hernia repairs, gallbladder surgery, GI tumor surgeries, and the latest laser treatments for anorectal conditions like piles, fissures, and fistulas.
